Teaching at a Japanese Preschool
A lot of fun
A couple of months ago I was asked by the Japanese preschool close to the church if I would like to teach the bible to the children there. Of course I said I would love to. I was given a schedule and the first day to teach came last week. The preschool principal led the students in silent prayer and then in the Lord’s Prayer followed by a verse from the passage where they all read together. Then it was time for me to explain the passage. I had been given the feeding of the 5000.
In all of the children’s Sunday school classes, youth groups, and Christians schools I’ve taught at over the years I must say it is a completely different experience to have your 4yr old and 3yr old son sitting among the students! They did great! Jesse even responded to the stories from our family to illustrate the passage. Please pray for Ome Yochien and the kids who are receiving the seed of the gospel there.
