However repentance without conviction....is problematic.
Many look at the Lord's Salvation as they got something and not they're saved /redeemed from something uttermost horrible judgement ( frankly).
These " easy believers " after " they believed " attend a couple of more times to the fellowship and after a while not any more.
Yes Steve good point. Conviction of sin is very important. If we don’t grow in understanding our sin we can’t grow in understanding and appreciating the Gospel.
